ast week in Anaheim California the Polycom Users Group (PUG) selected the VBrick Online Streaming Service to broadcast five of their conference sessions live over the Internet, including a presentation by the The Manhattan School of Music. These presentations were captured live by the VBrick Rich Media Studio and the VBrick WM appliance, streamed to the VBrick Online Streaming Service for distribution over the Internet, and archived for video on demand access by PUG members.
Craig Ernst of PUG selected VBrick as a partner to webcast the event as part of an ongoing relationship that highlights VBrick’s status as a Polycom Arena Partner. Andy Howard, Director of Corporate Market Development, was onsite at the event and had this to say about the relationship: “As a long time member of the Polycom User’s Group, We are very excited to be able to participate in and stream the PUG conference. Many of our customers are leveraging the VBrick appliances and management software to extend the reach of their videoconferencing infrastructure. This is just another example of the power of VBrick’s IP video streaming solutions to distribute video to a worldwide audience.”
Many thanks to Amy Goodwin, VBrick Video Network Engineer, and the VBoss team for pulling off another fantastic event! …
